YouTube's Black Creator Fund Supports 30, Including Financial Literacy Star Jasmine Taylor
YouTube has launched a fund to support Black creators, with the latest class of 30 selected individuals announced. Among them is Jasmine Taylor from Baddies & Budgets, who teaches women financial literacy. The initiative aims to boost visibility, subscribers, and earnings for Black content creators.
The fund, part of YouTube's ongoing effort to support Black creators, offers partner support, seed funding, and training programs. Taylor, excited about the opportunity, plans to reach more people with her financial literacy content.
Other creators in the class include Studio Jibby, a plant-based fitness trainer and lifestyle content creator, and Emmanuel Williams (iBelongOutdoors), who focuses on adventurous outdoor water activities. Aaron Brown (Smokin' & Grillin with AB) also made the list, sharing humble cooking videos that have gained him a large following. Dr. Nina Ellis-Hervey (BeautifulBrwnBabyDol) provides lifestyle solutions through her channel.
YouTube encourages interested creators to stay tuned for information on how to apply for future classes.
The fund aims to increase Black creators' visibility, subscribers, and earnings. Fans can support the creators by subscribing to their channels and using the Super Thanks button. YouTube continues to invest in diversity and inclusion within its creator community.
