Yarra Valley Water Appoints Tony Citera as New CFO
Yarra Valley Water has appointed Tony Citera as its new Chief Financial Officer. With over 25 years of experience in senior finance and commercial roles across highly regulated industries, Citera aims to drive the organization forward and make a meaningful impact.
Citera will oversee finance, procurement, legal, risk, and other corporate functions, leading the organization's Finance and Corporate Service Group. Most recently, he served as General Manager Finance - Retail, Brand and Marketing at Australia Post. Natalie Foeng, Managing Director of Yarra Valley Water, welcomed Citera's appointment, stating it strengthens the executive team. Citera has held senior roles in finance and procurement in highly regulated industries, including positions at Metcash Limited and NSW Department of Education, before becoming CFO at Yarra Valley Water. He is eager to make a positive impact with Yarra Valley Water, ensuring the Finance and Corporate Services department is a proactive partner, bringing a sharp commercial lens and a growth mindset to support customers. Citera will also help deliver Yarra Valley Water's customer-focused strategy.
