YAKUTIA.INFO. Entrepreneurs from the Yakut branch of "OPORA Russia" had a sit-down with Minister of Industry and Geology of Yakutia, Maxim Tereщенko. Companies such as "StroyModern" and SHPK "Ilge" attended the meeting. The talk revolved around ways small businesses can work hand-in-hand with industrial giants in the republic.
Leader of the Yakut branch of "OPORA RUSSIA", Sardana Pavlovа, suggested that the ministry help break the ice between local small businesses and bigwigs within Yakutia. She believes these corporate honchos are eager to team up with small businesses like hers. "We want to know their needs," she stated. She pointed to a recent gathering with "YATEK" as proof, where reps from the company expressed openness to collaboration.
Head of SHPK "Ilge" from Tompon District, Anatoly Kuzmin, urged about industrial companies purchasing local produce, like milk and meat. To make this a reality, Mr. Kuzmin asked for the minister's assistance.
Mr. Tereщенko revealed some companies already make agricultural products, but many others need them. This means the market for local goods has plenty of demand in the republic. "But it's not just about having a need," the minister noted. "The competitiveness of your products is still important."
Tereщенko highlighted several companies that purchase from local businesses, including "Polymetal", with whom they engage actively. He also mentioned the Neryungri District as a notable example. Despite being a deficit area beforehand, Neryungri now thrives thanks to the collaborative efforts between large and small businesses.
In response, Maxim Tereщенko asked the company owners to prepare a list of their businesses and services offered. The parties agreed to take their relationship to the next level by further developing collaborative opportunities.
