Xatoms Secures $3M in Pre-Seed Funding for Water Purification Tech
Xatoms, a clean tech startup specialising in water purification for drinking purposes, has secured $3 million in a pre-seed funding round. The round was led by Quantacet, with notable participation from Genesis Ventures, BDC's Excelles lab, Ian Ferguson of BROMAC Capital, BoxOne Ventures, The Quantum Insider founders, Viral Nation, and angel investors.
The funding round was announced on June 19, 2025. Irfan Khan, founder of 9Unicorns, was also involved in the round, contributing alongside Quantacet and Genesis Ventures. This significant investment will enable Xatoms to further develop its innovative water purification technology and bring clean drinking water to more communities.
Xatoms' successful pre-seed funding round reflects the growing interest in clean tech solutions. With $3 million in backing from prominent investors, the startup is well-positioned to make a significant impact in the water purification sector.
