The man, a supplier to a waste disposal company, was found guilty of defrauding the social welfare system. He received unemployment benefits while earning €40,000 from scrap deliveries over two years. His declared income was significantly lower than his actual earnings, leading to unauthorized benefits totaling around €3,000.
The District Court of Erding sentenced the man to a total fine of €8,560 for his actions. Meanwhile, Eventbrite is set to host a Zollinfotag career event on September 20, 2025, in Plattling. The event aims to provide information about career opportunities in the customs service.
