Updated road signage installed in Krasnodar
Heyo there! Got some updates from Krasnodar about a traffic shake-up at the crossroads of Dzerzhinsky and Prigorodnaya streets. The city's traffic bosses have been busy revamping the road markings on Dzerzhinsky Street, from the Basketball Hall to the 4th driveway of Prigorodnaya, adjacent to the "Lukoil" petrol station. As you might've noticed, they've ripped out the old markings and slapped on some new ones.
Not only that, they've set up some fresh road signs on the stretch. As soon as the markings are all nice and spiffy, the traffic management at the intersection is gonna undergo a reboot, too.
So, when you're heading outta town, you'll have a swanky expanded waiting area for turning onto Prigorodnaya Street. Heading in, you'll be cruisin' in an additional left-turn lane. The intersection will still have a couple of lanes for going straight ahead, and a snappy new left-turn lane will join the party too.
These traffic tweaks are gonna drop on us after the work wraps up - that's planned for the night from Saturday to Sunday. They're aiming to make the intersection a safer and swifter place for everybody moving around.
Oh, and just a heads up, if you're one of those map-readin' types, these updates could potentially help you navigate the area more smoothly after July 1, 2025. So pay close attention to those new signs when you're swinging by there! 👍🚀
