Upcoming in 2025: Bersa M2XI Firearm Release
Bersa, a renowned name in the firearms industry, has unveiled its latest product - the M2XI. This new addition is significant as it marks Bersa's first 2011-style design and is their latest American-made product.
The M2XI boasts a robust construction, with its slide made of 416 stainless steel and optics cut with a Holosun K footprint. The slide also features lightening cuts in the front for improved handling. The mainframe, too, is crafted from 416 stainless steel, adding to the durability of the pistol.
The M2XI employs a hybrid frame design that accommodates a double-column magazine. The frame includes a polymer grip module with a removable, flared magazine well for a comfortable grip and easy magazine reloading. The pistol's frame also sports a squared-off, undercut trigger, a Picatinny accessory rail on its dustcover, and an extended beavertail for added control.
The M2XI is a hammer-fired, single-action-only pistol that comes with a grip safety and a manual thumb safety. The trigger is skeletonized and flat-faced, offering a smooth pull, and the pistol uses a full-length guide rod for reliable operation.
The M2XI is available in two finish options: black nitride finish and brushed stainless. The slide's slide has a slide cut for an optic, and the height of the iron sights allows them to co-witness with an installed optic, providing flexibility for various shooting scenarios. The iron sights consist of a front post with a tritium insert and a drift-adjustable square notched rear with a serrated face.
The M2XI weighs 30 ozs and has a 5" match-grade bull barrel made of stainless steel. Notably, this barrel does not use a bushing where it interfaces with the slide, reducing potential points of failure.
The M2XI is chambered in 9 mm Luger and comes with one 17-round and one 22-round extended magazine. The MSRP for either the black or stainless finish is $1,479.
Bersa, a company known for manufacturing affordable concealed-carry pistols, has a U.S.-based subsidiary and manufactures firearms, including AR-15s, M1911s, and suppressors, in the United States.
