Porsche has announced the launch of special Black Edition versions for its popular Taycan and Cayenne models. These new editions will make their public debut at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK, scheduled from July 10 to 13, 2025.
The **Porsche Taycan Black Edition** comes equipped with a 105 kWh Performance Battery Plus, which increases the WLTP range to up to 668 km (approximately 415 miles), a 12% improvement over the standard model. This battery is optional on regular Taycan, Taycan 4, and Taycan 4S models but standard for the Black Edition.
Performance-wise, the base Black Edition sports sedan produces up to 435 PS (Taycan Black Edition with Performance Battery Plus: electric power consumption combined (WLTP) 19.4 – 17.4 kWh/100 km). The Taycan Black Edition is available as a sports sedan and Sport Turismo, with 4 and 4S all-wheel-drive powertrain options.
The exterior of the Taycan Black Edition features high-gloss black accents on the Sport Design package, mirror housings, side window trims, illuminated rear logo, and model designation at the rear. High-gloss black side mirrors are exclusive to the Black Edition when paired with other exterior colors. The interior boasts a black interior accent package, black-brushed illuminated aluminium door sill guards, storage enhancements, and a center console badge indicating the edition.
