U.S. dollar price rises on May 30th.

Market update for May 30, 2025:

The Kazakhstani tenge experienced fluctuations against major global currencies on Monday. The average trading rate for the US dollar closed at 510.81 tenge, marking a 1.69 tenge increase. Meanwhile, the average Russian ruble rate rose to 6.48 tenge, inching up by 0.04 tenge. In contrast, the average Chinese yuan rate commenced the day at 70.73 tenge, albeit registering a decline of 0.10 tenge.

Exchange offices in Kazakhstan continued to trade foreign currencies at varying rates. The US dollar was bought and sold at 510.3-512.7 tenge, while euros were transacted at 579-583 tenge. Russian rubles were exchanged at 6.39-6.51 tenge.

The global oil market displayed an upward trend on May 30. The price of August Brent futures on electronic trading at ICE Futures surged by 0.38% to $63.59 per barrel, while July WTI crude oil futures rose by 0.44% to $61.21 per barrel.

In the morning, the National Bank set the exchange rates for the US dollar at 509.26 tenge, the euro at 574.75 tenge, and the Russian ruble at 6.46 tenge.
