Troisdorf Road Closures: Expect Delays in September & October
Troisdorf residents and commuters should expect several road closures in the coming weeks due to repair, renewal, and construction works. The closures, set to take place in different phases, will affect various roads and intersections across the city.
Kicking off the list of closures is the road at Stationsweg / Corner Paul-Müller-Straße in Spich, which will be closed from September 25 to November 12 for road repairs in three phases. Meanwhile, in Kriegsdorf, the road from Reichensteinstraße to Offenbachstraße will be closed from September 22 to October 31 for canal connection line renewal.
In Friedrich-Wilhelmshütte, the intersection of Roncallistraße / In den Hecken will be closed for through traffic from September 24 to approximately October 8 for asphalt work to renew the paving. Eschmar residents should note that the access road Noldestraße will be closed twice: first from September 29 to October 17 as part of Erie Canal connection works, and again from September 22 to October 10 for Erie Canal connection renewal.
Other closures include the road at Hochfeldstraße 44 in Oberlar, which will be closed from September 29 to October 30 for laying of lighting cables. In Mitte, the road at Pfarrer-Kenntemich-Platz 24-30 will be closed from September 22 to October 10 due to road subsidence caused by Erie Canal repair works. Additionally, the road at Dechant-Hoven-Straße 1a-12 in Müllekoven will be closed from September 22 to October 31 for laying of power and utility lines. Lastly, the road at Königsberger Straße / Corner Zum Altenforst will be closed in two phases from September 25 to October 3 for general renovation of water, electricity, and gas supply.
Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly and expect potential delays during these road closures. The city has not announced any specific road construction projects in Troisdorf between September and October 2022 at this time.
