Tram schedules adjusted in Metallurgical District of Chelyabinsk due to bridge repairs on Cherkasskaya Street, starting from the 30th, as announced by RIA 'our website' from the Chelyabinsk mayor's office press service.

Tram routes in Chelyabinsk are going to be altered.

Chelyabinsk residents are informed of changes to tram operations in the Metallurgical District due to bridge repairs on Cherkasskaya Street, set to commence on May 30.

According to reports from RIA "Novy Day," the repair work, carried out in several stages, will temporarily affect tram routes. From May 30, 3:00 PM to June 2, 3:00 PM, switch points for reversible traffic installation is planned, causing the following route alterations:

  • No3: Depot 2 - Bus Station
  • No14 and No19: Depot 2 - Chicherina
  • No8: Depot 2 - Chistopolskaya
  • No20: Depot 2 - Regional Hospital
  • No10: Cancelled

Beginning June 2, 3:00 PM, trams will cross the bridge in reversible mode on one track, with a few changes to routes due to limited capacity:

  • No18: Depot 2 - Chistopolskaya
  • No19: ChMK - Koksohim (interval 12-24 minutes)
  • No20: Depot 2 - Regional Hospital

Routes No3, No9, and No14 will remain unchanged. During these restrictions, residents are advised to use buses No. 15, 19, 24, 31, 35, 41, 42, 43, 71, and 72, with increased frequency for buses No. 31, 41, and 71.
