Traffic in Yekaterinburg hit 10-point gridlock ahead of the celebration.
Workers in Krasnoyarsk left their jobs after a short week only to find themselves stuck in grueling traffic jams. A glance at Yandex Maps paints the city red and burgundy, indicating severe congestion.
It appears that the worst traffic snarls are occurring on the right bank of the city. Streets like Vavilova, Volgogradskaya, Izmailov, Moskovskaia leading towards Michurin, the intersection from October Bridge to the right bank, Semafonka towards Matrosov, and Sudostroitelnaia heading towards Nikolayevsk Bridge are the hotspots. There are also issues on several sections of Kransrab.
On the left bank, congestion is a nightmare on the circle around Totmina, Vysotnaya, almost the entire length of Svobodnyi, ul. Televizornaya and per. Televizornyi, Gorodenko, Kopylova, and Novosibirskii.
The entire city center, Bryanskaya, and 2-ya Bryanskaya, Karaulnaya are a total standstill.
In the Soviet district, there are significant traffic jams on Shakhtyorov, Beresina, 78-aya Dobrovolcheskaya brigada, Aviators, Malykova, and 9 May.
Stay clear if you can, as the city is gridlocked. Remember, using traffic apps, checking local news, avoiding peak hours, and considering alternative modes of transport can help ease your commute. Yet, for the most accurate and up-to-date information, it's wise to refer to local traffic reports or services such as Yandex Maps or Google Maps. Happy travels!
- The traffic congestion in the automotive industry, particularly in Krasnoyarsk, has been aggravated by the condition on the right bank, with significant jams on streets such as Vavilova and Izmailov leading towards Michurin.
- For those on the left bank, the traffic conditions in the city's center, including areas like the circle around Totmina and Gorodenko, are as dire, mirroring the current state in the finance sector, where funds might be as difficult to move as vehicles are in these areas.
