Title: NCAA Gymnastics Week Two: Olympians Dazzle and Delight

Witness yet another week of NCAA Gymnastics glory, filled with honors for former Olympians now thriving in college. Many elite athletes graced Oklahoma City for the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad, including numerous Olympians. While the top teams went head-to-head in OKC, Olympians also secured titles in smaller duels.

The Bright Spots:

Despite suffering a loss to No. 2 LSU Tigers in the "national championship preview" against No. 6 Cal and No. 4 Utah, 2024 Philippine Olympic hopeful Aleah Finnegan once again dazzled. Finnegan clinched the floor title with a nearly flawless 9.975, marking the top score on the event in 2025. Additionally, she delivered a stunning 9.925 on beam, leading her team to an impressive .350 improvement from the previous week. Heading into week three, Finnegan is presently ranked No. 1 on floor, No. 2 on vault, and No. 4 on beam. Her opening salvo in her senior year is nothing short of impressive.

In the same meet, U.S. Olympic silver medalist (Tokyo 2020) Grace McCallum cemented a momentous 9.975 on the bars, sharing the title with defending NCAA Champion Audrey Davis (Oklahoma). McCallum's Utah squad ended up finishing fourth in the contest, but McCallum's standout display was unmistakable.

Unveiling their debut with the No. 8 Arkansas Razorbacks, U.S. Olympic alternate and 2023 World Champion Joscelyn Roberson and Jordan Chiles staged an extraordinary event. Roberson clinched co-honors in the all-around championship, while contributing vital points in each event for the Razorbacks.

Roberson's highlight would be her breathtaking 9.95 on floor, exhibiting her signature vigor with a double layout and front layout through to double tuck. Roberson's score would typically secure the title, but her fellow Olympian nipped at her heels.

In an initiative dedicated to the Los Angeles community, Jordan Chiles was near-perfect in her week two outing. Chiles placed top-five in all three events, and her top mark came on floor to edge Roberson (9.975). The combined effort of her team aided UCLA in netting a quad challenge win, as well as the third-highest score in 2025 NCAA Gymnastics. Their score totaled a remarkable 2.3-point improvement from their subpar initial meet in week one.

UCLA Head Coach Janelle McDonald expressed her pride in her team’s effort, while praising their “heart” and “joy” in putting forward a stellar performance in Oklahoma City.

Before the evening concluded, Jade Carey showcased her prowess in a dual meet with Oregon State Beavers. Carey continued her winning streak, clinching an all-around title, and taking home event victories. Fans were enthralled by her 9.95 bar routine, featuring a jaw-dropping double layout dismount. Carey's total score of 39.725 matched the highest nationwide, sharing the accolade with Finnegan and Leanne Wong.

Speaking of Leanne Wong, the eminent senior took home the top spot for the Florida Gators, narrowly defeating Big Ten Champion Michigan State with her highest all-around score in the country, leading to wins on bars, beam, and floor.

Canadian Olympian Aurélie Tran made her NCAA appearance with the Iowa Hawkeyes. Despite the Hawkeyes' defeat to in-state rival Iowa State, Tran captured two titles, winning the all-around and bars in her maiden NCAA meet.
