Till Oberwörder Named New Chairman of VDV Industry Forum
The Association of German Transport Companies (VDV) has elected new leaders for its Industry Forum. Jürgen Greschner and Christoph Klaes have been appointed as deputy chairmen, while Till Oberwörder takes the helm as the new chairman. Till Oberwörder, currently serving as CEO of Daimler Buses, succeeds Rudi Kuchta, who is now a managing director at WILO SE in Dortmund. Oberwörder's appointment brings fresh leadership to the Industry Forum. Greschner, CSO and deputy chairman of the management board at Init, replaces Matthias Augustyniak. In his new role, Greschner will work alongside Christoph Klaes, who is Vice President Customer Management at Alstom Transportation Germany. Both Greschner and Klaes were elected as deputy chairmen, supporting Oberwörder in driving the Industry Forum forward. The new leadership team at the VDV Industry Forum brings a mix of experience and fresh perspectives.
