Thompson Spencer Bolsters Media Division with Key Appointments

Thompson Spencer, an independent full-funnel agency, has bolstered its media division with three key appointments. Jake Calder joins as Media Director and Media Futurist, while Libby Frost takes on the role of Media Planner in Auckland. Madison Trevella also joins as Head of Media in Melbourne. These hires reflect the agency's continued growth and commitment to excellence.

Jake Calder brings a wealth of experience from OMD and MBM, where he led digital transformation and performance strategies for major brands. Recognized as a thought leader in automation, AI, and digital media innovation, Calder will drive Thompson Spencer's media offerings into the future.

Libby Frost, joining the Auckland team, brings media strategy and integrated campaign delivery expertise from EssenceMediacom. Her appointment strengthens the agency's capabilities in media planning and execution.

Madison Trevella, previously with OMD and Reason, takes the helm as Head of Media in Melbourne. She will focus on integrated media offerings, further expanding the agency's service suite. These appointments, along with several others, have grown the media team to 12 professionals, serving clients across various sectors.

Thompson Spencer's Co-CEO, Melanie Spencer, attributes the agency's phenomenal growth over the past year to strategic investments like these. With an expanded media team offering a full suite of capabilities, the agency is well-positioned to continue its success in the Australian and New Zealand markets.
