The European Union's Leader project serves as a trial initiative.
The Local Action Group LEADER District of Fürth e.V. (LAG) is inviting innovative project proposals until October 27, 2025, for LEADER funding. This funding, totalling 1.7 million euros until 2027, offers a unique opportunity to implement innovative ideas and sustainably improve the quality of life in the district of Fürth.
Projects should aim to improve public services, promote climate and environmental protection, strengthen regional value creation, or foster social cohesion. Eligible projects for funding have a budget between 7,000 and 250,000 euros.
Projects oriented towards the common good are eligible for a 50% funding rate, while profit-oriented projects, such as those for businesses, are eligible for a 30% funding rate. As of the last steering committee meeting, approximately 700,000 euros remain for new applications.
The deadline for project submission is October 27, 2025. The LAG steering committee will evaluate applications on November 26, 2025. If approved, applicants can submit the funding application online to the Office for Food, Agriculture and Forestry.
After receiving the approval notice, the start of the project work is possible. The project description and application information can be found on the website https://leader.our website. Interested parties can contact the LAG management for comprehensive advice.
District Administrator Bernd Obst encourages everyone to submit their creative suggestions. However, the current spokesperson of the LAG-Management in Fürth and their contact information are not available in the provided search results. For queries, please contact Lars Czuma-Schmidt at 0911 9773 1030 or email [email protected].
The LAG has already decided upon two more projects in its last steering committee meeting. If your project aligns with the objectives and falls within the eligible budget, it could be the next to be funded. Don't miss out on this opportunity to make a positive impact in your community.
