Tesla initiates Spring 2025 Supercharger voting, excluding Canada from Q1 victors
In an exciting development for Tesla owners and enthusiasts across Canada, the Spring 2025 Supercharger voting round has been launched. This quarterly event invites participants to help decide where the electric vehicle giant will build its next Supercharging stations.
Tesla owners and fans can cast their votes for their preferred Supercharger locations, with each participant allowed up to five votes each quarter. Moreover, voters have the opportunity to suggest new potential Supercharger sites, giving the Tesla community a direct influence on expanding charging infrastructure within Canada each quarter.
The latest round of voting includes several Canadian candidate sites across provinces such as British Columbia (including Vancouver Island locations like Langford and Courtenay), Alberta with multiple city and regional sites, and various locations in eastern Canada like Ontario, Quebec, and New Brunswick.
Unfortunately, some provinces like Saskatchewan and Manitoba currently have no locations up for voting in this round. However, this does not diminish the importance of the community's input in determining the future of Tesla's charging network in Canada.
Tesla's community-driven voting program has proven successful in previous cycles, particularly in Quebec, where several sites were selected in late 2023 and throughout 2024. Last year, construction on Canada's first Supercharger voting winner in Saint-Sauveur, Quebec, began.
Interestingly, Canada took all of the winning spots in the Fall 2023 round of voting, but unfortunately, no Canadian locations were selected in the Q1 2025 Supercharger voting round. Nevertheless, the Spring 2025 Supercharger voting cycle is currently open for Canadians, and Tesla states that these votes directly impact Supercharger deployment decisions.
Voting for the Spring 2025 Supercharger round is available at tesla.com/en_ca/supercharger-voting. So, if you're a Tesla owner or fan in Canada, make sure to cast your vote and have your say in where the next Supercharger station will be built.
Additionally, using a referral link when buying a Tesla can provide three months of Full Self-Driving (FSD). So, not only can you help shape the future of electric vehicle charging in Canada, but you could also enjoy enhanced driving capabilities with FSD.
The Spring 2025 Supercharger voting winners include sites in the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia, demonstrating the global reach and impact of Tesla's community-driven voting program.
