Krasnodar to Undergo Sewer Network Overhaul on Stanovaya Street
Effective June 2, work on revamping a sewage collector will commence on Stanovaya Street, as per the announcement from Krasnodar Vodokanal's press service. The project is set to replace over 600 meters of aged engineering networks, with traffic management implementing a temporary scheme.
The renovation will encompass the stretch of Stanovaya Street from its intersection with Dzerzhinsky Street to Shosse Neftyanikov Street. The project will unfold in two phases:
- From June 2 to August 4, the section from Dzerzhinsky Street to house No. 24 will undergo renovation, with one-way traffic towards Dzerzhinsky Street allowed.
- From August 4 to October 30, the traffic will flow in one direction on the section from 2nd Line Neftyanikov Street to Shosse Neftyanikov Street, and vehicles will only be able to travel along the even side of the street.
Restrictions will be implemented gradually, following the progress of the works. To ensure minimal disruption, the repairs will be carried out using horizontal directional drilling, replacing old reinforced concrete pipes with modern plastic ones, 710 mm in diameter, durable for over 50 years. Fifteen new inspection chambers will also be installed along the route.
