Sompo Singapore Appoints Li Li Leong as New Head of Actuarial
Sompo Insurance Singapore has appointed Li Li Leong as the new Head of Actuarial, Singapore. With over 18 years of actuarial experience, Leong will oversee risk analysis and product pricing, leading the Actuarial Division and ensuring full regulatory compliance.
Leong's promotion comes after serving as Actuarial Manager and Actuarial Senior Manager at Sompo Insurance Singapore for nearly four years. Prior to joining Sompo, she held actuarial roles at ERGO Insurance Singapore, Tokio Marine Insurance Group (Asia), and MSIG Asia. In her new role, Leong will report directly to Mudit Gupta, Chief Actuary, Asia Pacific, and have a matrix reporting line to Pui Phusangmook, Chief Executive Officer, Sompo Singapore.
Sompo APAC has expressed confidence in Leong's leadership and actuarial expertise. She will support strategic initiatives and align actuarial insights with business objectives, further strengthening Sompo's actuarial capabilities.
