Soltau's Drögenheide Expands with 71 New Plots, More Time to Build
Soltau's city administration is expanding housing options with a new phase in Drögenheide. The 9th section, offering 71 plots, is set to start construction in the summer, following the recent sale of 150 plots in the development. Buyers will have more time to build, with the obligation period extended to four years.
The new plots in Drögenheide will range from 300 to 1500 square meters, catering to various needs. Purchase prices will be between 85 and 109 euros per square meter. Notably, the 9th section will not offer gas supply, reflecting the growing trend towards heat pumps among buyers. Infrastructure will be in place by summer, with utility and disposal channels and fiber optic cables laid.
In contrast, prospective buyers in Tetendorfer Straße can expect more expensive conditions and a later application period, towards the end of 2025 or early 2026. The building obligation period has been increased to four years, giving buyers more time to start construction. The city is also planning to build a kindergarten in Drögenheide, operated by the German Red Cross.
