Enexus and Akış Enerji to Develop the Titu 1 Solar Park in Romania

The Titu 1 solar park, a 20 MWp photovoltaic power plant located in Dâmbovița County, Romania, is being jointly developed by Enexus and Akış Enerji, a subsidiary of Turkey’s Ulusoy Enerji Yatırımları. The project is currently in the "ready to build" (RTB) phase, signifying that all necessary approvals have been secured, including construction, environmental permits, grid connection authorizations, and land rights.

Key details:

  • Capacity: The solar installation will have a capacity of 20 MWp, along with a 20 MVA transformer station.
  • Location: The Titu 1 solar park is situated in the city of Titu, Dambovită County.
  • Partnership: Akış Enerji brings renewable energy investment and operational experience, managing around 200 MW in wind, hydro, and solar assets. This partnership reflects a long-term collaboration in Romania’s renewable energy sector.
  • Services: Enexus is responsible for the full engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of the project, including detailed design, equipment sourcing, civil works, and grid connection. After commissioning, Enexus will provide ongoing operations and maintenance (O&M) services, including performance monitoring and preventive/corrective maintenance.

Enexus, led by CEO Mesut Güler, provides services ranging from renewable energy assessments to turnkey design, construction, operation, and maintenance of photovoltaic projects. The company has built and connected over 600 MW of renewable energy projects globally and has been delivering swift integrated EPC services since 2014, enabling renewable energy investors to grow their capital rapidly.

Upon completion, expected by the end of 2025, the Titu 1 solar park will contribute significantly to Romania's clean energy goals by injecting renewable electricity into the national grid and enhancing system stability. The project is expected to generate between 24.5 and 28 GWh of energy annually, depending on equipment efficiency and irradiation at the site.

Starting from 2025, Enexus aims to expand into new emerging markets and become a global leader in renewable energy. The Titu 1 solar park project is delivered in partnership with Akış Enerji, a major player in Turkey's renewable energy sector.
