Short-term shutdowns announced

In the coming weeks, the city of Diestelbruch will undergo some significant roadworks, which may cause temporary disruptions for commuters and visitors. The specialist company responsible for these final roadworks has not been explicitly named in search results, but they are set to commence on various locations across the city.

Firstly, from August 12, 2pm, to August 13, 5pm, the entrance to Hamburger Street in Diestelbruch will be fully closed. Simultaneously, Bad Meinberg Street will be partially closed on one side during this same period. These closures are necessary for the specialist company to carry out expansion joint cutting and filling work on the concrete surfaces at both locations, using a rubber-like compound.

On August 12, the specialist company will also perform final roadwork at the town entrance in Diestelbruch on Paderborn Street. During this time, traffic at the roundabout will be regulated by a traffic light in one lane, but access to the open-air museum will not be possible. Temporary closures are also required at the new roundabout near the entrance to the open-air museum.

From August 18 to 20, the same work will be carried out at the roundabout on Paderborn Street near the open-air museum. The entrance to Hamburger Street in Diestelbruch may also be partially restricted during this work, potentially affecting barrier-free access.

The city portal apologises for any inconvenience caused by these necessary measures. They encourage commuters and visitors to plan their journeys accordingly and to check the city's website or social media channels for updates on the roadworks.

While the specific details about the specialist company conducting these roadworks are not yet available, the city assures residents and visitors that they are taking every precaution to ensure the work is completed efficiently and with minimal disruption. The expansion joint cutting and filling work is a crucial step in ensuring the long-term durability and safety of the new roadways.

As always, the city thanks its residents and visitors for their patience and understanding during these necessary works. They look forward to welcoming everyone back to Diestelbruch once the roadworks are complete.
