Shinec JSC & PV Gas D Partner to Green Vietnam's Industrial Landscape
Shinec JSC has announced a significant step towards greening Vietnam's industrial landscape. The company has partnered with PV Gas D to develop sustainable energy systems, with a focus on reducing CO2 emissions and generating carbon credits.
Shinec and PV Gas D have signed a cooperation deal to establish natural gas/LNG distribution systems at industrial parks and clusters. This project aligns with their shared mission to create a sustainable, modern, and green industrial ecosystem adhering to ESG standards and global energy transition trends.
The project, associated with the Ca Na LNG Power Center in Khanh Hoa province, involves foreign companies from the United States, South Korea, and Singapore. They will develop an LNG supply and infrastructure network, including gas pipelines and LNG regasification facilities, for industrial zones and clusters in Vietnam. Investments are expected over the coming years, with expansion targeted from 2025 to 2030 within the Shinec industrial cluster.
Shinec's ambition is to transform its industrial ecosystems into key suppliers of clean energy to localities and enterprises within Vietnam's national green value chain. The company is investing in eight new industrial parks and clusters in Vietnam, designed according to eco-industrial and circular economy models. These parks will initially be implemented at the Nam Cau Kien Eco-Industrial Park in Hai Phong city.
Shinec previously collaborated with Stavian ED to implement carbon reduction solutions at its industrial parks and clusters. Recently, the company held a working session with the Vietnam Petroleum Institute to develop the Eco Energy Industrial Park Center model, aiming to meet green development standards and create dual benefits: reducing carbon emissions and generating carbon credits.
Shinec's partnership with PV Gas D marks a significant move towards greening Vietnam's industrial parks. The project, involving international collaboration and aligned with global energy trends, seeks to reduce CO2 emissions, generate carbon credits, and create a clean energy infrastructure network. Shinec's commitment to eco-industrial and circular economy models positions it as a leader in Vietnam's national green value chain.
