On July 18, 2025, SWU Traffic GmbH, a municipal utilities company, placed an order for 37 new electric buses of the eCitaro type from Daimler Buses. The order, which includes an option for nine additional vehicles, represents a significant investment in modernizing public transport in Ulm and Neu-Ulm.
