SachsenEnergie's Major Project: Expanding District Heating & Water Pipes in Dresden-Pieschen
SachsenEnergie is launching a substantial project to extend district heating and renew drinking water pipes in the Dresden-Pieschen area. The project will kick off on September 14th, with Hubertusstraße becoming a key location for the work.
Hubertusstraße, particularly the section between Großenhainer Straße and Volkersdorfer Straße, will be closed in stages from September to late October. This is required for the expansion of the hot water network and the renovation of drinking water pipes, which will be handled by Stadtwerke Dresden. Before work begins, construction preparations may cause some restrictions. To aid the work, a temporary construction road will be built on the left sidewalk between Volkersdorfer and Friedewalder Straße.
The project, starting on September 14th, is expected to enhance the district heating supply and drinking water infrastructure in the Dresden-Pieschen area. Residents and commuters are advised to plan their routes accordingly during the construction phases.
