The Il-62M aircraft touched down in Istanbul at 03:15 Moscow time, as per Flightradar24's data, following a ride from the Russian capital. But the enticing part lies in the VIP passengers on board – the Russian delegation, consisting of bigwigs like Vladimir Medinsky, Mikhail Galuzin, Alexander Fomin, and Igor Kostyukov. These esteemed officials are slated to partake in the upcoming Russian-Ukrainian talks scheduled in Istanbul on May 15. Reports suggest the U.S. will also have representation at these critical negotiations.
Sources reveal the Russian delegation is led by Vladimir Medinsky, a close adviser to Russian President Vladimir Putin. These negotiations aim to set the groundwork for direct communication between Russia and Ukraine with the intention of forging peace in Ukraine.
