Royal De Heus Expands in Asia with CJ Feed & Care Acquisition
Royal De Heus, a leading Dutch feed company, has signed an agreement to fully acquire CJ Feed & Care's operations in several Asian markets, including Vietnam. The deal, expected to close in the first half of 2026, involves 17 feed mills and promises wider access to high-quality nutrition and support for regional farmers.
The acquisition is part of a larger strategy to establish a high-tech agricultural supply chain, aiming to export chickens that meet European standards. In February, De Heus and its Vietnamese partners, TTC Group, launched three agricultural projects in Tay Ninh province, worth VND620 billion ($24.3 million). These projects will fortify De Heus' position in Vietnam, Indonesia, and Cambodia, and grant direct market access to South Korea and the Philippines.
The acquisition of CJ Feed & Care's operations in Asia by Royal De Heus is set to reinforce the company's presence in the region. With the integration of 17 feed mills and the ongoing projects in Vietnam, De Heus is poised to provide enhanced nutrition and support to farmers, ultimately facilitating the export of high-quality poultry to international markets.
