Roger Vivier Opens Historic Paris Mansion as Hub for Heritage and Contemporary Design
Luxury brand Roger Vivier has opened its doors to Maison Vivier in Paris' Saint-Germain-des-Prés district. The private mansion, built in 1729, serves as a hub for the brand's heritage and contemporary ambitions. Spread across multiple salons, the space immerses visitors in Roger Vivier's history. The Archive Room displays over 1,000 creations, sketches, and documents, including a 1962 prototype and 1955 Dior sandals. The Heritage Salon showcases key pieces from the 1950s to the 1990s and photographs. The Vivier Salon pays tribute to the founder's aesthetic, featuring art objects and vintage furniture. The Studio of Gherardo Felloni, the brand's creative director since 2018, reflects his creative process. The new location is a return to the brand's roots, situated near its founder's former workshop. Maison Vivier is open by appointment only to press, Very Important Clients, and students from art, fashion, and architecture schools. Roger Vivier aims for this space to be a place of exchange, converging its rich heritage with contemporary ambitions.
