Road Closure on John F. Kennedy Avenue: Bus Rerouting In Effect
In the heart of Wiesbaden, the closure of Raiffeisenplatz and Wolfsfeld will affect the operations of ESWE-Verkehr lines 45 and 49. Here's what passengers need to know about the detours and alternative routes.
The press release from the Press Office of the State Capital Wiesbaden states that both lines will run in reverse order in the direction of Hauptbahnhof, with Line 45 following a detour via Erbacher Straße and Mariannenstraße, and Line 49 running via Erbacher Straße and Waldstraße.
During the closure, the stops Raiffeisenplatz and Wolfsfeld will not be served. Passengers are advised to use nearby stops along the detour routes. For instance, from the stop "Südfriedhof", the detour in the direction of Raiffeisenplatz will be via Siegfriedring, B455, and Washingtonstraße to the temporary stop "Raiffeisenplatz".
The route from the temporary stop "Raiffeisenplatz" in the direction of Raiffeisenplatz/Wolfsfeld will continue back to the regular line via B455.
