Renault Acquires Fixter to Boost Digital Vehicle Maintenance

Renault Group has acquired Fixter, a digital platform for vehicle maintenance, as part of its after-sales digitalization strategy. Hakan Dogu, Renault's Senior Vice President of After-Sales, announced the merger, aiming to combine expertise and digital knowledge for high-quality services.

Fixter, founded in 2017 in London by Limvirak Chea, Frédéric Dermer, and Cristian Vrabie, offers transparent pricing, online appointment scheduling, vehicle collection, and repair guarantees through a single platform. The startup connects individuals and professionals to nearby garages for maintenance of all brands.

With this acquisition, Fixter will benefit from Renault Group's multi-brand garage network 'Motrio', digital services, and financial services. Renault Group aims to offer the best quality-speed-price ratio for repairs and maintenance with this investment. Hakan Dogu sees this acquisition as a way to accelerate innovation in automotive maintenance, with Limvirak Chea, co-founder of Fixter, expressing excitement about the partnership.

Renault Group's acquisition of Fixter is set to enhance the digital experience for vehicle maintenance, combining Fixter's innovative platform with Renault's extensive network and services. This merger is expected to bring improved convenience, transparency, and quality to customers.
