Recruitment firm The Adecco Group names Ian Lee and Rob James as new members to its executive committee.
Adecco Group Announces Changes in Executive Committee
The Adecco Group, a Fortune Global 500 company based in Zurich, Switzerland (ISIN: CH0012138605, listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange under ADEN), has announced changes in its Executive Committee effective from January 1, 2018.
The changes are designed to build on the company's leading global position as the world's leading workforce solutions partner, providing more than 700,000 people with permanent and flexible employment daily.
Alain Dehaze, CEO of the Adecco Group, commented on the changes, saying, "The changes we are announcing today are designed to build on our leading global position and further strengthen our ability to deliver innovative and effective workforce solutions to our clients."
Christophe Duchatellier, who joined the Adecco Group in 2010, has significantly contributed to the business growth in the APAC region since 2012. He will take over the global responsibility for Spring Professional and Badenoch & Clark, effective January 1, 2018.
Sergio Picarelli, who has been with the Adecco Group since 1993, will become globally responsible for the brands Lee Hecht Harrison, Spring Professional, and Badenoch & Clark, effective January 1, 2018. In addition to his regional responsibility for Italy, Eastern Europe, and MENA, he will also retain this role.
Ian Lee, who started his career in 1990 with Procter & Gamble and spent the last 14 years with the Whirlpool Corporation, will join the Executive Committee as Group Chief Information Officer (CIO), overseeing the company’s IT strategy and digital transformation initiatives.
Rob James, who joined the company in August 2016, will also become an Executive Committee member, effective January 1, 2018. As Group Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), he will be responsible for leading marketing, brand strategy, and communication efforts for the Adecco Group.
