Ralph Lauren Opens First Canadian Store, Launches E-commerce Site in Toronto
Ralph Lauren Corp. is set to expand its business in Canada with a significant move. The luxury fashion brand is launching its first-ever news outlet in the country, in Toronto, alongside a new e-commerce website. This expansion is part of the company's 'Next Great Chapter: Accelerate' plan, focusing on growth in North America, Asia, and Europe.
The new Toronto news outlet, scheduled to open later this year, will offer a mix of men's and women's collections, including the high-end Purple Label. Customers can expect private styling appointments and tailoring services. This move is part of Ralph Lauren's strategy to build a comprehensive omnichannel ecosystem in its top 30 cities globally.
The brand is also launching a new e-commerce website for Canada, RalphLauren.ca, on October 11. This site will feature the brand's full portfolio of products. This digital expansion comes after a 10% revenue decline in North America in the company's most recent quarterly earnings. Currently, Ralph Lauren has 12 outlet stores and a wholesale presence in several retail stores across Canada.
Ralph Lauren's expansion in Canada is a strategic move to strengthen its presence in the North American market. The new Toronto news outlet and e-commerce website are expected to attract more customers and boost the brand's revenue in the region. This expansion is part of the company's broader growth strategy, which includes targeted expansion in Asia and Europe.
