Promoters Boost Stakes in Textile and Jewelry Giants
Promoters have been actively investing in textile and related industries this week. Candour Techtex Ltd saw a 0.64% stake acquisition by Chandni Machines Limited, while Winsome Textile Industries Limited witnessed a 0.45% stake increase. Meanwhile, Senco Gold Limited saw its promoters boost their stake to 41.43%.
Candour Techtex Ltd, a Mumbai-based manufacturer and trader of textiles, plastics, and related products, saw its promoter Chandni Machines Limited acquire around 1.14 lakh shares on September 30. This investment, totalling Rs. 1.06 crore, represents a 0.64% stake in the company. Candour Techtex Ltd has a market capitalization of Rs. 190.76 crore and closed at Rs. 101.70 per equity share on Monday, up by 5 percent.
Winsome Textile Industries Limited, based in Chandigarh, also saw promoter activity. The promoter acquired 90 thousand shares on September 30, investing Rs. 81.78 lakh, which amounts to a 0.45% stake. Winsome Textile Industries Limited has a market capitalization of Rs. 185.59 crore and closed at Rs. 93.64 per equity share, up by 1.37 percent.
Senco Gold Limited, a Kolkata-based manufacturer and trader of jewelry made of gold, silver, platinum, diamonds, and other precious and semi-precious stones, saw its promoters increase their stake to 41.43% and 6.52% on September 29, 2025. Senco Gold Limited has a market capitalization of Rs. 5,768.62 crore and closed at Rs. 352.35 per equity share on Monday, up by 0.95 percent.
Everest Industries Limited, a Mumbai-based manufacturer and trader of building products and steel buildings, saw its market capitalization decrease to Rs. 1,087.70 crore, closing at Rs. 686, down by 4.03 percent. However, there were no reported promoter activities increasing their holdings in the company last week.
