Press responsibilities and communications at VDDI are now managed by Dommer.
New Appointment at the Association of German Dental Industry (VDDI)
Martin Dommer has been appointed as the new Head of Press and Communications at the VDDI, effective immediately. Dommer brings extensive experience in communication and media relations to his new role.
Dommer began his career in the City of Cologne in 2014, where he held various positions, including the Office of the Mayor and the Department for Integration and Diversity. He also served as a spokesperson for the Social Affairs Department of the City of Cologne.
Before his appointment at the VDDI, Dommer held the position of Press Spokesperson for the German Adult Education Association. His previous roles also include working as Press Spokesperson for the Social Affairs Department of the City of Cologne and spokesperson for the German Adult Education Association.
In his new role at the VDDI, Dommer will be reporting directly to Markus Heibach. Agnes Plümer, who was previously the Head of Press and Communications at the VDDI, is no longer in this position.
Dommer's background includes managing communication strategies, engaging with media outlets, and overseeing press activities to enhance organizational visibility and reputation. With his rich background in public relations and communications, Dommer is well-equipped to lead the VDDI's press and communications efforts.
The VDDI is the Association of German Dental Industry, where Dommer has recently been appointed. Prior to joining the VDDI, Dommer had no prior experience working in the dental industry. Since 2024, Dommer has been the Head of Press, PR and Communications in the City of Cologne.
Dommer takes over the role from Plümer and will be responsible for shaping the VDDI's communication strategy and representing the organization to the media. The VDDI is confident that Dommer's extensive experience in communication and media relations will help to further enhance the organization's visibility and reputation.
