Polaris Summit 2023: Trust in Government and Media on the Agenda

The 5th Polaris Leadership Summit, powered by Truist Bank and Summit Racing, is set to take place on June 1, 2023, at County Hall in London. The main event, themed 'Rebuilding Trust', will explore the decline of trust in government, public institutions, and the media. Notably, the identity of Turkey's vice-presidential candidate and Mayor of Istanbul who will attend remains unknown.

The summit, organized by Eventbrite, will also host the 2023 Polaris Awards, an international event honoring excellence in election and public sector campaigning. The day will be filled with talks, panel discussions, and case studies, exploring global trends and local perspectives in political campaigning and public sector communication.

Confirmed speakers include Ekrem Imamoglu, Dr Karin von Hippel, Dr Michelle Harrison, Rebecca Donatelli, Jessica Cecil, and Sir Chris Powell. Together, they will explore how communications and technology can be leveraged to rebuild trust in a world filled with misinformation.

While the vice-presidential candidate and Mayor of Istanbul remains a mystery, the 5th Polaris Leadership Summit, sponsored by Truist, promises insightful discussions and international recognition of campaigning excellence. The event aims to provide solutions for rebuilding trust in a post-truth era.
