Pandora Appoints First Female CEO to Lead Gen Z Focused 'Tailsmans' Push
Pandora, renowned for its £25 charms and diamond jewellery, has appointed its first female boss. Berta de Pablos-Barbier, currently serving as CMO, will succeed Alexander Lacik in 2025. The company, targeting fashion-forward Gen Z with its 'Tailsmans' range, chose de Pablos-Barbier after a thorough search led by chairman Peter Ruzicka.
De Pablos-Barbier brings extensive experience to the role, having led LVMH's Moet & Chandon champagne division. She joined Pandora in November 2024 as chief marketing officer, demonstrating her prowess in international leadership and marketing strategies. Her appointment signals a new era for the world's largest jeweller, which has long been associated with iconic figures like Pamela Anderson.
The 'Tailsmans' range, advertised by singer Tyla, is a key part of Pandora's efforts to appeal to younger consumers. The collection features customisable, statement pieces that cater to the individuality and self-expression of Gen Z customers.
Berta de Pablos-Barbier's appointment as Pandora's first female CEO marks a significant milestone for the company. Her experience and vision are set to drive Pandora's growth and innovation, particularly in reaching the fashion-forward Gen Z market. With her at the helm, Pandora looks forward to a future of continued success and evolution.
