Our site secures 11 Euromoney accolades on a global scale
In a grand ceremony held in London, our website was honoured with a series of prestigious awards at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2025. Established over 30 years ago, these awards are considered the most prestigious in the financial industry, recognising outstanding achievements by banks and financial institutions worldwide.
The accolades highlight our commitment to sustainable and inclusive banking practices, as well as our expertise beyond our core business. Euromoney acknowledged our dedication to corporate responsibility, with our website being awarded "Germany's Best Bank for Corporate Responsibility" and "Asia's Best Bank for Diversity and Inclusion." Additionally, we were recognised as "Hong Kong's Best Investment Bank for M&A," "Switzerland's Best Investment Bank for DCM," and "China's Best Investment Bank for DCM."
Our website also secured the title of "Germany's Best Investment Bank" for the fourth year running, and "Europe's Best Investment Bank" for the fourth consecutive year. The investment banking franchise in Europe has gathered remarkable momentum over the past year, driven by a sharp rise in origination and advisory revenues and a consistent gain in wallet share across almost every industry group. Furthermore, we were awarded "Asia's Best Investment Bank for Financing."
Our success in these awards is a testament to our focus on sustainability and digital transformation. Progress was made towards this goal in 2024/2025 with market share gains across multiple products. In line with this, 40 percent of our staff in India are corporate volunteers, contributing to projects that help people build their professional and personal skills.
Moreover, our commitment to education is evident in the "So geht Geld" (How money works) programme in Germany, which has reached around 100,000 school children since 2021, equipping them with practical financial knowledge.
Panos Stergiou, Global Head of FIC Sales & Co-Global Head of RMS & Structuring; David Feldmann, Head of Institutional Client Group EMEA and Head of Markets in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland; and Marie-Jeanne Deverdun, COO Investment and Corporate Bank, collected the awards on behalf of the organisation. Alison Harding-Jones, Global Co-Head of the Investment Bank, stated that the goal is to be the leading European investment bank globally, the undisputed No 1 in Germany, and the Global Hausbank for clients.
These awards reaffirm our position as a leader in the financial industry, celebrating our commitment to sustainable development, diversity, inclusion, and financial excellence on a global scale. The 2025 edition of the Euromoney Awards for Excellence emphasised the growing importance of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria and digital transformation in banking.
Our website's recognition as "Germany's Best Investment Bank" and "Europe's Best Investment Bank" demonstrates our expertise in investment banking, making us a significant player in the business and finance industry. Beyond corporate responsibility, we were awarded for our services in diverse sectors, such as "Asia's Best Bank for Diversity and Inclusion" and "China's Best Investment Bank for DCM." Additionally, our commitment to sustainability and digital transformation is commendable, as shown by our focus on ESG criteria and the initiative to equip schoolchildren in Germany with financial knowledge through the "So geht Geld" programme.
