Lot-by-Lot Auction of Kruтогоrsky Nefterefinery Trust's Assets
Individual lots from the Kruтогоrsky Nefterefinery Trust's real estate holdings are up for grabs, a decision made by arbitration manager Vladimir Dobryshkin.
thirteen assets have been listed for sale on the Russian Auction House platform, located on the premises of the halted Kruтогоrsky Oil Refinery. The auctioned assets include a fuel storage facility, a pumping station, rail tracks, three gasoline storage tanks, and other production buildings. The total starting price for all lots reaches a whopping 132.9 million rubles, with individual asset prices ranging from 530,900 rubles to a staggering 47.8 million rubles. Bidders must put down a minimum deposit of 5% of the lot's price by June 2025 to participate in the bidding, which is scheduled for June 11, 2025.
The refinery, launched in 2008, was declared bankrupt in 2021. Its owner Valery Fedotov was sentenced to eight years in prison and fined 750,000 rubles on charges of covering up criminal activities involving oil products, deceiving banks, and defrauding consumers.
Let's refresh our memories, OOO "VSP Kruтогоrsky Oil Refinery" was declared bankrupt at the start of 2021, with the company scheduled for liquidation in November 2023. However, in April 2024, the plant's main facilities were sold collectively as a single lot during the bankruptcy proceedings of the company's parent entity - OOO "VSP Trust". At that time, the assets were estimated to be worth over 597.44 million rubles.
