Ogilvy appoints Ann Garreaud as its new Global Chief Financial Officer

Ogilvy, the renowned advertising and marketing agency, has announced the appointment of Ann Garreaud as its new Global Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective from July 2025. In her new role, Garreaud will oversee all financial and commercial operations across Ogilvy’s global network and serve as a member of WPP's finance leadership team.

Garreaud brings a wealth of experience to Ogilvy, having spent 25 years at Publicis Groupe where she held various senior positions, including Executive Vice President of Global Client Finance and Business Solutions. Before that, she served as the U.S. CFO for a joint venture between Y&R and Dentsu.

Devika Bulchandani, the global CEO of Ogilvy, praised Garreaud as a strategic leader focused on delivering client value and driving sustained growth. Garreaud emphasizes shifting the agency's focus from price and cost efficiency to driving client business objectives and connected solutions, informed by her experience in client-focused roles.

One of the key aspects of Garreaud's new role will be her oversight of Grey's financial reporting. This change comes after Grey's reporting structure was moved under Ogilvy by their parent company WPP in May 2025. Despite this change, Grey remains a standalone agency. This structure underlines WPP’s strategy of closer financial collaboration among its agencies without merging the agency brands.

Garreaud will be based in New York and expressed her excitement and honour to join Ogilvy, a brand known for its iconic status and exceptional ability to use creativity as a business driver. She is committed to ensuring that Ogilvy continues delivering exceptional value and innovative solutions for clients worldwide.
