Norton Boosts Small Business Security with Dark Web and Social Media Monitoring
Norton, a Gen division, has enhanced its Small Business offerings with worldwide Dark Web Monitoring and Social Media Monitoring features. This expansion comes during a 21% quarter-over-quarter rise in business-targeted data breaches and a 68% increase in attacks on small enterprises in 2025.
Norton's Dark Web Monitoring, included in both Standard and Premium plans globally, scans for eight business-specific elements and alerts owners if any appear on dark web sites. This proactive measure helps safeguard against cybercriminals exploiting stolen information to impersonate legitimate vendors.
Social Media Monitoring, part of the Premium package in the US and UK, keeps an eye on connected Facebook and Instagram accounts. It warns businesses about potential account takeovers, scam links, or suspicious activity, protecting their online presence.
These new features, along with existing protections, provide comprehensive security for small businesses across data, finances, and online presence. Norton's expansion tackles the growing threat of cybercrime, helping small businesses stay vigilant and secure.
