Wind Turbine Maker Nordex Taps Ibrahim Oezarslan as Global Sales Chief
Nordex promotes an internal employee to sales manager position
Swinging into a new phase, wind turbine powerhouse Nordex, listed on the MDAX, has named Ibrahim Oezarslan as its Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Hailing from Turkey, Oezarslan joins Nordex's ranks after an illustrious 25-year plus journey with the company, mainly specializing in customer-centric roles across service, operations, and sales.
Oezarslan, born in 1972, started his professional career as a project engineer in Germany and Denmark back in 1995, earning a master’s degree in civil engineering from Aarhus University School of Engineering beforehand[2][3][5].
With Nordex, he has held noteworthy positions, including recently serving as CEO of the group's Europe Division, where the company held a leading market position. Prior to that, he headed sales for Europe from 2018 to 2021[2][5].
As of May 1, 2025, Oezarslan officially steps into the freshly created role of CCO at Nordex. In this new post, he steers all worldwide sales and project execution duties, with regional managing directors reporting straight to him. Notably, he continues to report to Nordex Group's CEO, José Luis Blanco[1][2][3].
This significant appointment marks the introduction of a dedicated CCO role within Nordex, putting Oezarslan at the helm of its global commercial operations.
