Moonpig Enters the Gaming Space: A New Destination for Gaming Fans

Moonpig, a popular UK-based online greeting card and gifting platform, has announced its entry into the gaming space with the goal of becoming the 'Home of Gaming' for birthdays.

The new gaming range by Moonpig includes licensing partnerships with several flagship brands such as Nintendo, Pokémon, Sonic the Hedgehog, SEGA, Warhammer, and Marvel Gameverse. The Nintendo-themed cards were designed by Moonpig's in-house team, creating a diverse, personalizable range that is not available anywhere else.

Participants in the April campaign had the opportunity to win prizes, including personalized Nintendo Switch Lite consoles and a personalized Xbox Series S in partnership with gaming sensation Ali A.

Nelson Calvinho, Head of Marketing for Nintendo UK, expressed support for the new range of cards from Moonpig, stating that it would put a smile on the face of anyone receiving them. Moonpig's goal is to offer a brilliant range of cards that fans can't find anywhere else and matching gifts for the perfect bundle.

Moonpig is actively recruiting additional gaming brands to expand its gaming range and achieve its vision of becoming the ultimate gifting companion. Victoria Connor, Licensing Executive at Moonpig, expressed enthusiasm about extending the licensed range for cards and gifting with more gaming favorite brands.

The Moonpig gaming range expanded in April with a new stage of the campaign, featuring bespoke site looks and social media competitions. The range is intended for people who spend hours watching Ali-A on YouTube or who reminisce on their Sonic-on-the-Mega-Drive days.
