New Leadership Appointed at NACS: President and CEO Named
Frank Gleeson to Succeed Henry Armour as NACS President and CEO
In a significant move for the convenience and fuel retailing industry, Frank Gleeson has been announced as the new president and CEO of the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS), effective from January 1, 2026.
Gleeson, who brings a wealth of experience from the industry, has served in senior roles at several leading companies. He previously held the position of vice president of retail at Statoil Ireland (now Equinor) and retail director at Topaz Energy Group in Ireland.
Prior to his tenure at NACS, Gleeson was the president and CEO of Aramark Northern Europe, where he oversaw a team of over 20,000 employees. He has also been active in NACS and other trade associations, demonstrating his commitment to the industry.
Gleeson is only the fourth CEO in NACS's 64-year history, following in the footsteps of industry veterans. Notably, all four NACS CEOs have come from the convenience and fuel retailing industry.
Henry Armour, the current NACS president and CEO, will provide support to Gleeson after his tenure. Armour, who has served in this role since July 2005, has been instrumental in shaping the direction of the association.

As Gleeson prepares to take the helm, the convenience and fuel retailing industry looks forward to the leadership and direction he will bring to NACS.
