NBB Named Germany's Most Efficient Gas Network Operator

NBB Netzgesellschaft Berlin-Brandenburg has been recognised as one of Germany's most efficient gas network operators by the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA). The agency's evaluation, based on 2020 data, commends NBB's technical and economic performance.

NBB's efficiency is reflected in its top score of 100 percent in the BNetzA's five-yearly efficiency comparison. The company operates over 14,000 kilometers of pipeline with maximum efficiency, maintaining a favourable cost-benefit ratio. This high level of efficiency is a result of NBB's innovative approaches to cost reduction, as encouraged by the BNetzA's evaluation.
