Munster Boosts Climate Action with Free Energy Advice Sessions

Munster is escalating its climate action with a series of energy advice sessions. The city, striving to become a climate city, will host these sessions in collaboration with the Consumer Center and the Climate Department. Both landlords and tenants are welcome to attend and learn about reducing fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, and associated costs.

The sessions, held on Tuesday, October 7, and Wednesday, October 8, at the House of Sustainability on Hammerstraße 1, require no prior appointment. They will focus on reducing CO2 costs for heating buildings in Munster. Landlords, who are legally required to contribute to these costs, will find the sessions particularly useful. The share of their contribution increases based on the building's energy balance.

The city's initiative is part of its broader effort to become more climate-friendly. By providing practical advice, it aims to help residents and landlords alike in their quest to lower their carbon footprint and save on energy costs.
