Maruti Suzuki Reports Record September 2025 Exports, Sales
Maruti Suzuki India has reported a strong September 2025, with record exports and robust sales. The company's production volumes and sales figures have shown significant growth compared to the previous year.
September 2025 saw Maruti Suzuki exporting a record 42,204 units, marking a 52% increase on global demand. This surge in exports was driven by relaxed GST rates and growing festive bookings, which also contributed to a 26.5% year-on-year increase in production volumes, totalling 201,915 units.
Sales to OEM partners in September 2025 rose to 11,750 units from 8,938 units a year ago. The compact segment remained the volume engine for Maruti Suzuki, with 66,882 units sold in September 2025, a 10.6% year-on-year gain. However, domestic sales in the same month softened 8.3% to 135,711 units due to logistical constraints. Despite this, Maruti Suzuki reported total sales of 189,665 units in September 2025, a 2.7% increase over the prior year.
Maruti Suzuki India's September 2025 performance highlights the company's resilience and adaptability. Despite logistical challenges, the company has managed to increase its production and sales, driven by strong exports and the compact segment. As the company awaits the publication of its October 2025 production volumes, industry watchers will be keen to see if this momentum can be maintained.
