Ludwig-Dörfler-Allee to Become One-Way Street for Construction from June 16 to July 4

From June 16 to July 4, Ludwig-Dörfler-Allee will become a one-way street, redirecting traffic towards 'An der Festung'/ Palais Verna. This change aims to facilitate construction work in the area. Parents are advised to avoid using 'parent taxis' to the school grounds during this period.

During the detour, a no-stopping zone will be in effect between 'An der Festung' 28 and Frankfurter Straße 74. Parking will only be permitted in designated areas. The city is working on several projects to improve traffic flow and accessibility.

The barrier-free redesign of the 'Parkschule' bus stop is ongoing and expected to be completed by August. Meanwhile, the bus stop on the street side of the school is scheduled to be finished during the school holidays. Left turns from Adam-Opel-Straße to Max-von-Laue-Straße and vice versa will be possible after the renovation.

Terramag is constructing a new intersection area at Adam-Opel-Straße / Max-von-Laue-Straße, with completion expected by the end of the year. The municipal authorities are responsible for the renovation of the bicycle and pedestrian underpass area on Mainzer Straße, ensuring accessibility during construction.

These changes are part of the city's ongoing efforts to improve traffic management and infrastructure. Motorists and pedestrians are advised to follow the new traffic rules and signage during this period.
