Logistics company Raben Romania broadens its operations by opening a new warehouse at CTPark Brasov West
Raben Logistics, a prominent logistics provider, has taken a significant step in its Romanian expansion by opening a new 1,800 sqm warehouse at CTPark Brasov West. This marks the tenth warehouse for Raben in Romania, further strengthening its position in the country.
The newly added facility will serve as a hub for cross-docking, contract logistics, co-packing, and last-mile deliveries to retailers in the Brasov region. This strategic location provides direct access to key transport routes such as the E68, E60 corridors, the future A3 motorway, and Brasov-Ghimbav International Airport, ensuring efficient distribution of goods.
CTP, a leading provider of industrial real estate, oversees over 3 million square meters of leasable space across Romania, supporting business expansion in key regions like Bucharest, Arad, Sibiu, Oradea, Timisoara, Craiova, and now Brasov. CTPark Brasov West, spanning 12.6 hectares, offers Class A industrial spaces.
In a statement, George Clipa, the General Manager at Raben Logistics Romania, highlighted the collaboration with CTP, saying, "The partnership with CTP provides certified infrastructure that enables faster delivery to Transylvanian customers."
CTP is planning to construct two additional buildings at CTPark Brasov West, totaling 10,000 square meters. This expansion will further cater to logistics and light industrial clients, aligning with Raben's growth strategy in the region.
Raben's regional growth includes partnerships with CTP in countries such as Poland and the Czech Republic. The new warehouse's role is essential within Raben's national groupage network and in connecting Brasov with countries like Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, and broader Europe.
Raben continues its regional growth, currently leasing 261,000 square meters across six countries in Central and Eastern Europe. The new warehouse will operate in coordination with Raben's other sites in Sibiu, Bucharest, Roman, and Buzau.
The total leased space for Raben within CTParks in Romania is now 15,000 sqm, a testament to the successful partnership between the two companies. As Raben continues to expand its footprint in Romania, it is poised to deliver faster, more efficient logistics solutions to its clients in the Brasov region and beyond.
