Lloyds Introduces Carbon and Environment Trading Division
Lloyds Bank has announced the launch of a new center of excellence for Voluntary Carbon and Nature Markets (VCNM). The London-based unit, part of Lloyd's Sustainability & Client Advisory division, will operate within Lloyd's Business and Commercial unit and aims to guide the bank’s clients through the evolving landscape of carbon and nature markets.
Emily Martin and Gabriella Carden have been appointed as co-Heads of the VCNM center. Both have extensive experience within Lloyds Bank, with Martin having worked at the bank for over 10 years and most recently serving as Director, Sustainability & ESG Finance. Carden joined Lloyds Banking Group in 2011 and most recently served as Director, Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets (LBCM), Sustainability.
The appointments signify Lloyds Bank's commitment to supporting clients in navigating the complexities of carbon and nature markets.
