Law Firm FisherBroyles Strengthens East and West Coast Presence with the Recruitment of Lawyers Rick Antonoff and Breyon Davis
Two seasoned attorneys, Rick Antonoff and Breyon "Bree" Davis, have bolstered FisherBroyles' presence on the East and West Coasts. Antonoff, a finance and bankruptcy veteran, has joined the firm in New York, while Davis has taken up a position in Los Angeles.
Antonoff, who boasts over 30 years of experience, will beef up FisherBroyles' bankruptcy, financial restructuring, and reorganization practice areas. He has represented numerous entities in bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court workouts across diverse sectors such as retail, real estate, energy, technology, and more. Prior to joining FisherBroyles, Antonoff served as a partner at Am Law 100 firm Blank Rome LLP, Clifford Chance LLP, and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman.
Jess Bahs, managing partner of FisherBroyles' Corporate Group and chair of the firm's Tax Group, expressed enthusiasm about Antonoff's arrival. "Rick Antonoff's impressive background and strong reputation immediately enhance our already formidable finance and bankruptcy practice groups," Bahs said.
In addition to his bankruptcy work, Antonoff advises litigation funders on structuring and documenting transactions and navigating ethical and professional responsibility issues. He represents foreign trustees in cross-border insolvency proceedings and buyers of distressed assets.
Davis, with almost 15 years of experience, has settled in Los Angeles and brings her expertise in civil pretrial and trial services, commercial, employment, and entertainment litigation to FisherBroyles. She has handled partnership disputes, claims for misappropriation of trade secrets, contract breaches, and business torts. Davis represents clients in various industries, including hospitality, entertainment, real estate, and product development and sales.
Tom Lundin, managing partner of FisherBroyles' Litigation Group, praised Davis' strategic approach and broad experience, saying her capabilities made her a valuable addition to the firm. Davis spearheaded a multi-plaintiff lawsuit on behalf of over 100 participants against one of the largest artist and entertainment unions, resulting in appellate mediation in the Central District of California. She has negotiated commercial lease agreements and defended and prosecuted unlawful detainers, premises liability complaints, and labor- and employment-related disputes.
The addition of Antonoff and Davis further solidifies FisherBroyles' commitment to attracting top-tier talent to its industry-leading teams on both coasts. This strategic expansion allows the firm to provide innovative client service across a broad spectrum of sectors, from commercial litigation to banking and financial services.
